Bouchra has been in the language services field for more than 12 years, having taught Arabic and French at the University of Maryland and at the Foreign Service Institute. Her language instruction experience encompassed in-person and distance learning courses where she taught both adults and children. Bouchra strongly believes in the importance of culture in language acquisition and enjoyed incorporating cultural activities into her classes.  Her passion for languages led to her current position as a Translation Project Manager at GLS. Today, she enjoys connecting with GLS’ network of professional linguists, working together to deliver quality translation projects while learning something new about a language or culture every day. In her free time, Bouchra enjoys mediating (she’s a licensed mediator) and playing tennis with her husband and two children.
