Rosalie Wells

Linguist in the Spotlight 2nd Quarter:

When Rosalie Wells joined Global Language Strategies’ linguist team in November of 2024, she brought more than four decades of professional translation experience and an unwavering commitment to quality. As an ATA-certified (English into Spanish) translator whose been working in the translation industry since 2004, she has worked across business, legal, medical, technical, marketing, and social services fields. Her expertise and careful research ensure every project is accurate, culturally appropriate, and client ready.

Her foray into translation began unexpectedly while transitioning from the advertising industry. Growing up in a bilingual household in Mexico, translation had always been second nature to her. An in-house translator role in Philadelphia became the foundation of her career. After the birth of her son, she built a successful freelance practice. She has also contributed to the profession by leading workshops through the American Translators Association and mentoring fellow translators in productivity and best practices.

Outside of work, she enjoys quilting, sewing, and running an Etsy shop where she creates memory bears from cherished clothing items. Rosalie enjoys cooking and hosting Sunday dinners for her family. She lives on a tree farm in West Grove, Pennsylvania, with her husband of nearly 43 years. They have three children and five grandchildren who often help Tita (their moniker for grandmother) make biscuits in the kitchen.

We are grateful for the experience, professionalism, and heart she brings to Global Language Strategies each day. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
